Could refer to various topics at Work, a disambiguation page, which have paragraphs/sections dedicated to their respective histories. However, with that being said, I do not think retargeting to Work is the solution here since the disambiguation page does not disambiguate a "History of work" topic. Keep I think there is very little chance that someone will search for the other pages with "history of work". The sub-bullets under work (human activity) are covered by the same page. The history of work in physics is merely a subtopic of "history of physics" or "history of mechanics", and one would expect to find such information at "work (physics)", not on a separate page. "Creative work" and "work of art" are not referred to by the collective noun "work". Bands, musical works, and people don't have separate "history" items, and most of the entries are partial title matches. Comment This has history as an article, in 2005 it was a single paragraph describing someone I'd probably call a consultant although I'm not sure that's a perfect match, This New York Times article from 1964 supports that definition. Google results are mostly describing a person who climbs the corporate ladder by moving from one job/company to the next relatively quickly (I'm sure I've heard a different term for this but I can't remember what it is) and I've not found relevant content here, this is often contrasted with a jobseeker (an unemployed person looking for work) (JobSeeker and Job Seeker may warrant a retargetting discussion of their own). However, this redirect seems to be a {{R with history}} as a result of a WP:BLAR in 2008; the original target was Monopoly. The redirect is mentioned in Monopoly, but it does not seem to define this redirect, but rather using the redirect as using "potential" as an adjective to describe "competition" instead (though the redirect is used as a makeshift section header in ~~Monopoly#Market shares~~ Monopoly#Other related factors). Delete. The only connections to capitalism I can find almost certainly originated with this redirect. Google is insistent that I meant Marcionism (an early Christian belief system) but I don't think this is a plausible misspelling that for our purposes. The only other thing I found in search results is a hashtag related to a TikTok series about fishing, but I can't work out what it means in that context either. Keep, and Revert the change mentioned. Peeko is the focus of an early main quest in the Hoenn games, where the player is expected to rescue this NPC Pokemon from a Magma/Aqua grunt. Given this means that nearly everyone who plays through said games will encounter this NPC, I'd say that the NPC's name is an appropriate- and non-crufty- mention in the article, and similarly, an appropriate and non-crufty redirect. The main author of the Titchborne article, Brian Boulton, died in 2019. Several of his admirers and protégés like me keep an eye on the 100+ articles he took to FA and comment as we think appropriate when changes are suggested. Keep. Soft redirects to Wikiquote are a thing and they have community consensus to exist, and this is a properly formatted etc one so the only question is whether this an appropriate example or not. I'm not familiar with the work at all, but given that the quote is not mentioned on en.wp, it is not only mentioned on, but is used as the lead illustration of, the wikiquote page, it gets a lot of Google hits (including in things like memes, making it very likely someone will search for the origin of it) and it is not ambiguous it seems to tick all the boxes for being a useful soft redirect.
